THE SKI AREA WITH THE BEST VIEW IN THE EAST
I’m a sucker for a good view, so this morning I headed to where the license plates say “LIVE FREE OR DIE” to ski with one of, if not THE, best views in the East.

Today was a gorgeous day in northern New York. The sun was out, and at least where I was skiing, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.

I’ve not ridden all the lifts that get thrown into the lineup for coldest chairlift in the East, but I’ve ridden a number of them, and I’d say the Flyer Quad at Jay Peak is the coldest of the lot.

It was a windy day at Whiteface and basically all of the lifts, except maybe the carpets down low, went on wind hold at one time or another.
