Had it not been a little windy, I think I could’ve got away with wearing shorts.

After four long months, and probably against all odds, this ski is set to be reunited with its owner.
A MOODY SKI DAY AT WHITEFACE
Visibility was terrible everywhere, except the very bottom. The fog was so dense at times that it felt like I was in a Silent Hill game.
FAST AND FIRM DAY IN THE WOODS AT JAY PEAK
Despite knowing that the woods would be fast and firm, I decided to head up there anyways, because April is nearly here, and tree days are now fleeting.
HOW I PAID A DOLLAR IN QUARTERS FOR A LIFT TICKET TO SKI TODAY
That’s right. A lift ticket today was only a dollar. I paid in quarters.
FAST, FIRM AND A LITTLE MUSHY AT WHITEFACE
Yesterday was a warm day in the North Country. Temperatures were in the 50s, and then it rained last night. After that, it got cold. Put that all together and you’ve got the recipe for a fast and firm ski day.

The snow was amazing, there was plenty of terrain open, and the views were five star!

For the fourth time in nine days, I was treated to a powder day. You could say life is pretty dang good.

After 51 long days deep in the Adirondack Mountains, wrangling in run after run on his trusty steed, Armada, Wild Bill passed more than two million vertical feet skied this season today.
WINTER’S BACK AT WHITEFACE MOUNTAIN (AGAIN)
After Monday’s warm temperatures, which were followed by yesterday’s big freeze, and very windy conditions, I was a little worried about how Whiteface would be today, but it ended up being pretty nice.

THE ICE COAST IS BACK, BABY!
After a cold and snowy winter, followed by a week or so of spring skiing, classic Ice Coast conditions returned today to the East.
SKIING THE BIGGEST SKI AREA IN NEW YORK
Gore doesn’t have the most vertical, that would be Whiteface, but it does have the most skiable terrain (by a lot).
